Nobody does it better...
My name is Clifford and I'm the owner of Arlington Media. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. During this difficult time, we are here to help with the media coverage of your loved one's Arlington service.
Our sole purpose is the capturing and preservation of memories at Arlington National Cemetery, through photos and videos. This is all we do — period. That's why we're the best.
I personally understand how important your service is, as I have family and friends buried at Arlington.
But it is more central than it first may seem apparent. For all we can ever do for our heroes is to remember them and remember what they did — and memories of these military services are transmitted to future generations through your memories and our pictures and videos.
Using long-range lenses allow us to capture private moments without interfering in the solemnity of the service's military rites. Through captivating professional video and photography, we can bring the service to loved ones who couldn't be there, and provide a moving memorial you and your family will cherish for years to come.
So a year from now, or 50 years from now, you and your descendants can hear the playing of Taps or see the fluttering of the flag, or a flyover in tribute to your loved one's service and the memory and the importance of that day will again be in the forefront of your minds and hearts. We have worked with tens of thousands of families. I personally understand how important your service is, as I have family and friends buried at Arlington.
Our job on every service, every day, is to be able to handle whatever happens, no matter how unexpected or unanticipated while still being professional and unobtrusive. We know where to be and when, and more importantly, where not to be.
My team and I look forward to working with you,

Clifford and the Arlington Media team

Photography & Video
Most families book photography and videography together. One team plans the whole day, the cameras are positioned so they never work against each other, and you end up with a complete record of the service rather than half of one.
For standard, full honors, and chapel services we deliver a minimum of 200 edited photographs. Dependent-only services are shorter and have no minimum.
Photographs are delivered on a photo USB thumb drive or in a private online gallery. Video is delivered on a USB thumb drive or as a private online link. Both are guaranteed for one year from delivery and typically available for up to five years, so please download your files within the first year.
Video packages include at least four professional broadcast-quality 4K ultra-high-definition Sony cameras, not a handful of GoPros.
Historically, we deliver an average of approximately 436 photographs per service – sometimes more, sometimes less owing to the unique nature of each service. We shoot with multiple Nikon or Canon professional cameras and lenses, always in RAW, converted to JPEGs for delivery. RAW files are not provided. Our acquisition and editing practices meet or exceed the production requirements of broadcast companies like National Geographic, BBC HD, and Discovery HD.
We include a copyright release for personal use, so you can print, copy, and share your photographs and video with family and friends. We ask only that Arlington Media be credited when you post them publicly. The files remain Arlington Media’s copyrighted work and may not be sold or used commercially. Our USB thumb drives are not copy protected, so you can make your own copies.
Live web streaming is available as an add-on to video coverage — see web streaming for what we can and cannot control on the day.
Looking for one or the other on its own? See photography or videography.
What our work
means to us
Arlington Media's sole purpose is to cover services at Arlington for families. It's in our core DNA. We don't do weddings, corporate work, or anything else on the side. Our amazing creative professionals use state-of-the-art, purpose-built gear allowing them to give extraordinary attention to details and incredible precision on every service, every time.
We don't do weddings, corporate work,
or anything else on the side.
Each piece of camera equipment, the computers and software we use, the way our production pipeline is designed, is all geared towards covering your service with the greatest level of care and respect.
We show you what happened
We do not add elements that were not there. If there was no caisson, no caisson appears in your video. We do not use footage from another family’s service, we do not stage or re-create any part of a service, and we do not manipulate photographs to add or remove elements. Opening and closing clips may include general cemetery imagery. Where a service includes a cannon salute, we may use previously recorded salute footage, because the battery is positioned away from the graveside and covering both at once would mean leaving equipment unattended. A flyover is sometimes obscured by tree cover or by where we are required to stand; when that happens we will not substitute footage to fill the gap. We also cannot add copyrighted music or media clips to your production.

What families say
"You are a professional; not someone who just went out with a camera and pushed record. Thanks again."

Flowers and Arrangements

Why We Don't Bring Flowers To An Arlington Service
We believe your loved one deserves the best in every aspect. Rather than including flowers in our packages—or trying to pick them up ourselves—we refer families to trusted local florists who specialize in memorial arrangements. By doing so, you get the highest level of expertise from both your florist and our photography/video team.
Our focus must remain solely on capturing each moment of your loved one's ceremony with utmost care. Because we often cover multiple services in a single day, stopping to purchase or transport flowers adds an unnecessary layer of complexity and can distract from our core mission: providing the best possible coverage at Arlington National Cemetery.
There are many experienced florists in the area; one we frequently see is:
Arlington Cemetery Florist
(703) 527-7110 | arlingtoncemeteryflorist.com
Conveniently located next to the cemetery, they can have roses, wreaths, or sprays ready and waiting for you at the gravesite.
By entrusting floral arrangements to dedicated professionals, you ensure a seamless, dignified tribute to your loved one—while we focus on preserving those memories for generations to come.
