Some of the most exciting and challenging things we cover at Arlington are flyovers
Flyovers take days and weeks to plan, but only last a few seconds. There’s no chance for a do-over, you can’t make a mistake. There’s a manual on flyover procedures used by the flight and ground crews that we’ve read (we have a copy) and implemented in to our coverage. From holding locations to radio frequencies, we are able to listen to the ground crews coordinate with the flyover aircraft live which is critical with timing and camera placements.
