The caisson platoon and members of the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) render final honors for Pfc. Karl Dye who was reported missing in action in South Korea on July 16, 1950. Dye was killed during the Korean War and was accounted for on December 3, 2018. ⠀ ⠀ Members of The Old Guard take on the solemn duty and distinct privilege of rendering final honors for Service Members as they are laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. ⠀ ⠀ We share this same respect for the fallen in our work each and every day here in Arlington.
